a5c7b9f00b The everyday trials and tribulations of Detroit's homicide unit. This is one of the best TV cop shows I've ever seen. I find it difficult to believe that is only lasted one season, but when I compare it to series that have lasted I'm afraid I know the reasons: Not enough sex between characters, not enough bad behavior on the part of the police (drug use, infidelity, etc.) and not enough intradepartmental politics, corruption and back-stabbing. Good acting, great actors, excellent and innovative direction and the unique character study provided by Michael Imperioli were just not enough to sustain the interest of modern audiences. I guess people today don't enjoy watching good men and women doing a good job. They want bad behavior and titillation. It was just too good to last. I love this show! I am a big fan of Michael Imperioli ever since he was on the Sopranos. I am also a fan of some of the newer talent on this show. I Tivo all shows and watch them again with my son who is also a huge fan. I hope this show gets picked up for a 2nd season. I love how the stories come together and how the characters interact with each other. I also love seeing Detroit cityscapeswellDetroit landmarks. I am grateful also for the diversity the police department depicts on the show. The season finale was very well done, keeps me begging for more! I also appreciate the perspective of the senior members of the department and the perspective of the newer members of the department. Thanks for a job well done!
